Mikayla and I have been at ‘Study for the Cure’ for a few hours now, and this is the product…impressive work huh? In between eating pizza && oranges && looking at cute cat pictures, we have in fact gotten some work done…well kind of. I tried to figure out one of Mikayla’s chemistry problems…it didn’t work out. && i’ve also succeeded in effectively ignoring my last 3 pages of reading for ISC for the second consecutive day. College efficiency at its finest.
My parents and I went to the Horse Park to see the Southern Lights tonight. I’ve never been to see them, but they reminded me a lot of the Christmas lights at Callaway Gardens in Georgia. I took pictures of all of the 12 Days of Christmas lights && this one is the clearest one: the 9 ladies dancing. I think my favorite part was seeing the animals in the petting zoo though. I’m six years old :)
We won! Oh my Lord I thought Mikayla and I were going to die right there in Rupp a few times during the game. After all of the high-fiving of strangers and cheering and yelling ourselves hoarse, I thought a victory photo was appropriate. Yeah I know Mikayla, roll your eyes lol.

I love when new episodes of “chopped” come on food network. Especially after a long day of classes and work. I like seeing the different inspirations people take from the same ingredients. Makes me wish I was more culinarily-inclined lol.
Ahh thanksgiving…I tried to convince mom to take a Norman Rockwell-ish picture with the family sitting around the table and her presenting the giant turkey on the table filled with the good china and everything. We opted for fixing plates in the kitchen && just taking a picture of the loaded plates haha. I’m going to be eating dressing and sweet potatoes for the next two weeks.
So, these are our fish…they’re in tupperware because we weren’t allowed to leave anything plugged in at the dorm over the break..so i had to pack them up into their little container and drag that and their giant tank out to my car. Now i’m going to have to do the same thing to them again on Sunday to get them back…poor fish are going to be traumatized.
I love making ‘To-Do’ lists. Being able to see my progress && productivity throughout a week is very satisfying. However, sometimes I think those little empty check boxes could cause anxiety lol.
My mama decided to take pictures of me cooking dinner with David. Please observe that he is laughing at me making a face. So nice of him haha. But the chicken had been marinating in the fridge all day && it was freezing my hands while I was trying to skewer it. Tasted good though lol.
When I was thinking about a video clip to use during my speech, my mom suggested a clip from a movie where a guy’s laptop with his book on it (he was an author) got run over by a truck. Neither of us could remember what the movie was, but it made me think of this scene from “Christmas with the Kranks”.
